ST MARGARETS FAIR 2025 MUSIC STAGe

The St Margarets Music Stage is back, celebrating local talent with a vibrant mix of performers of all ages. Headlining this year is London’s brass sensation Das Brass! Expect a fusion of pop and funk classics reimagined with the flair of a traditional New Orleans horn section.

Bring a picnic blanket, grab a drink from one of our stalls and soak up an afternoon of genre-spanning sounds with friends and family —from Cuban-inspired Latin jazz, fresh indie from award-winning youth bands to garage punk from veteran local rockers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day.

HEADLINE ACT

We are thrilled to announce Das Brass as our headline act! Das Brass are favourites on the festival circuit having played Glastonbury, Wilderness, Bestival, Boardmasters, Citidel, All Points East and more. High energy and charismatic this 5-piece brass band are guaranteed to get a smile on your face.

 LOCAL BANDS

The Fades

Local garage punk-rock heroes The Fades take to the stage! Unrelenting garage indie from a four-piece band hailing from Twickenham and southwest London.

Bilongo

If you like Buena Vista Social Club, you’ll love Bilongo! Expect a set of uplifting Latin beats from a local band passionate about Cuban music and Latin jazz.

Learn to Swim

Learn to Swim are a duo that write their own songs but neither of them can swim. They will be promoting their latest single Sunshine State which is available on all platforms and taken from Unknown Album which has recently been released. 

 Poster

Labelled by X-FM as “The best unsigned band” in early 2000, Poster will be playing a set of original songs with strong melodies and guitar riffs which will take people back to the 90’s indie Britpop scene.

YOUTH BANDS

The Badgers

The Badgers have been crowned champions at Twickenham's prestigious Battle of the Bands 2025. This talented five-piece band, performing together for two years, has already impressed audiences at numerous events hosted by The Basement Door music charity, including Fusebox and Mazda stage, while also collaborating with youth music providers JOM and Ampfarm.

Powerjam Band Project

Awarded  ‘Music School of the Year 2025/26 London/Southeast Prestige Award’, Powerjam Band Project, the local not-for-profit multi-genre band academy, is showcasing one of its young talented bands, ‘Onda’! Powerjam, also voted one of The Big Issue Changemakers of 2025, matches up its young applicants to form bands and offers each band weekly tutor-led rehearsals and regular gig opportunities! All the band's names are put into a hat and lucky winners are drawn out. This way, everyone will have an equal chance of playing. We will ask that the winners that get picked and want to play again apply the year after to make space for others.
