The Dog Show is one of the St Margarets Fair’s most loved traditions. Once again, we’ve got a fun-packed programme of crowd favourites, new categories and, of course, the famous Leave the Sausage Challenge! Whether entering your dog into the show or cheering from the sidelines, we’d love to see you there.
Register dogs into the Show between 12.15 – 1.30pm (please register early as spaces are limited)
Entry: £5 per category (includes entry gift bag).
The fun starts at 1.45pm

Fabulous Fella: Dogs aged 10 months+
Waggiest Tail: Show us your dog’s moves
Perkiest Puppy: Up to 9 months
Loveliest Lady: Dogs aged 10 months+
Bestest Ears: Long, short, wonky or responsive – let’s celebrate the delight of dogs’ ears!
Musical Sits: Each round, when the music stops, ask your dog for a sit until we have a winner! (the speediest sitter wins)
Golden Oldie: Senior dogs 9 years+
Best Trick: Demonstrate your dog’s best trick
Leave the Sausage Challenge: St Margarets’ one and only regular favourite, for the Butch Parker trophy
Judges’ Choice: The judges choose from the category winners the dog they’d most like to take home.

Please note: If your dog is uncomfortable in proximity to other dogs or being approached by strangers, please do not enter them into the show. Owners and their dogs attending the Fair and the dog show, do so at their at their own risk.
