ST MARGARETS FAIR 2026 MUSIC STAGe
The St Margarets Music Stage is back, celebrating local talent with a vibrant mix of performers of all ages.
We are thrilled to announce Grupo Martillada as our headline act!
Grupo Martillada are a compact, vibes-led sextet with a seriously big sound. Blending high energy NuYorican sophistication with Latin rhythms and dancefloor jazz, they deliver big punchy, percussive melodies that bang with energy and make you want to move!
The band has come together from across the musical spectrum of session players from the world of Latin, pop, soul and jazz. Centred round Dave Hammer (USA/UK) vibraphone, Roberto Pla (Colombia/UK) timbales/bongos/percussion and Satin Singh (India /UK) on congas, this small band punches way above its weight. Members of this band have played at Glastonbury, The Royal Albert Hall, Brecon Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s, The Edinburgh Festival Fringe and numerous European music festivals.
