The St Margarets Elastic BandThe St Margarets Elastic Band is a popular local band that plays a diverse range of music – big band, swing, jazz and well-known popular songs. They might even occasionally leap into a quiet almost classical mood.


They’ve played at many local and regional events including exchange visits with the Union Musicale to Richmond’s two twinned towns, Fontainebleau and Konstanz; and perform a fund raising concert for the St Margarets Fair every April.

Richmond Music Trust Soul Band

The Richmond Music Trust Soul Band is formed of students from the Borough of Richmond who get together once a week to play soul hits from the 60s and 70s by the likes of James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Dusty Springfield.


They are led by Roger Perrin who teaches and runs several other bands with the Richmond Music Trust. (

Formed in 2010, West London Brass was established to provide an exciting and fresh musical experience to audiences.


With repertoire ranging from classical adaptations, jazz arrangements to a wealth of original compositions, West London Brass is available to perform at all manner of events and concerts.

As a versatile group of musicians, West London Brass performs regularly as a 10-Piece Brass Ensemble and as a Brass Quintet.
